Fresh KA swap now a miss. *help*

Heres the specs.
91 S13
96 KA24DE
Swapped Intake and exhaust mani from the S13 motor onto this and the emissions crap.
Swapped S13 Dizzy to it also.
Now what happens is I get a Miss between 1500-2Kish. All the timing was set right and bang on. Runs fine till it gets to that RPM. Now I broke the side of a connector on the SCV Control Solenoid Valve and it wont fully connect. Would this cause it?
the car has spark and fuel, Pumps good, Wires are good. Im thinking that connector or possibly plugs.

What is the condition of the spark plugs? Fuel filter? If in neutral and you rev slowly through the rpm band doe sit miss there? Or only under load when in gear? Auto transmission?
More details needed

fuel filter is fine. plugs have abit of browning on the bottom of the porcelin. It does it in neutral also. It is a 5spd.

Sounds like you have a spark plug or plug wire breaking down.

yeah thats what a local guy was saying. I got new plugs here, ill be putting them in tonight.

ha was a plug. Changed them and its fine.
