So the weather in NYC has been pretty cold lately, like 10-20 degrees and some snow. So last night I was trying to open my trunk and it wouldn't really move so I kind of yanked it and I noticed that the rubber stopper looking thing came off on the left side. I tried to squeeze it back it and slammed the trunk down but it wouldn't fit.

Another problem is, i tried to open my door this morning and it was a little frozen. I noticed the rubber part on the bottom of the door came off a little bit. So what adhesive would I need to glue that part back on? And how do i put the rubber piece back on in the trunk? Also if anyone has any freezing weather tips I would appreciate that as well, thanks guys.

I got a s13I used white lithium grease on all weather strip also where the glass touch strip, door hinges and hood latch.

Before this method I would have problem opening the door every winter morning in the rain, snow or sunshine.

White lithium grease can be messy on weatherstripping, I would use silicone spray on the weatherstripping and white lithium on the hinges.

Get some weatherstrip adhesive to re attach the part that came out,

the roads in nyc are horrible that's why I'm running on shock and spring combo. you're from jamaica, the roads there are bad too especially the exit to parsons from the grand central. there's a bump there where my car would hop.

thanks guys i screwed the trunk rubber piece on somehow it seems like that worked. i guess i'll have to visit autozone soon for the weatherstrip issue...

one more question, i noticed that i get water in the trunk like in the spare wheel area. but my trunk carpet and stuff aren't wet. where is the water leaking from? i also think this happened after i got my bumper repainted...

probably from your tail lights. you need to check your seals around it. I still have to reseal my tail lights and paint my trunk when the weather is better.
