Hey guys & gals.....

This damn winter is a BEOTCH! My driver side door has been freezing and preventing me from opening the door. I'd guess moisture is somehow getting in there, but it only happens on the driver side and not the passenger side. And let me tell you, standing over 6'0, climbing from the passenger seat to the driver seat is a freaking chuckle a minute.....for the people watching!!
Anyhoo, I sprayed some WD-40 in there (McGuyver in a can!) and that seems to have done the trick, although I'll probably pick up some de-icer just in case. It seems to only happen when the temps get in the teens and lower......anybody else ever deal with this? On the up side, the Coupe has been handling like a champ in all this snow......love it!

My 2002 Altima has been doing the same thing when it gets in the teens or lower. I will try the door lock spray and see how that works. Thanks

Something similar happened to me. One night my driver side door handle just didn't want to budge. After a while, it opened, but it was stuck on open, so I couldn't get my door to close...

Now it's been stuck in the "lock" behaviour from the outside, so the handle will move, but the door won't open. I have to do what the OP said, which is open the door from the passenger side :(

I really hope nothing's broken in there and it'll fix itself after it gets warmer
