KUILLIN_DRIFTER i removed your post because you were linking to another site and didnt even know what the part was.

a freeze plug is meant to pop out incase the liquid in the block freezes (i.e. coolant freezing during winter). its to relieve pressure so the block dosent crack.

240 240, i bet if you take the plugs into a nissan dealer they can match them.

yes if the motor was running and one were to blow out or die then it would over heat due to the lack of coolant in the motor.

you ppl dont know much about motors, lol Freeze plugs are used to plug up the holes from casting the motor, not if it overheats/freezes, if that happened they would need to be replaces way too often

Freeze plugs (also called "blind" or "expansion core" plugs) are small steel plugs used to seal the holes in the engine block and head made in casting. They expand and flatten as they are driven into place, and make a tight seal. These are designed to hold the pressure of the cooling system, but to pop out if the coolant in the block ever freezes.
