So i've got to replace my freeze plugs, mainly on the intake side of my motor, but im gonna do the exhaust side's plugs as well.

I'm needing to know the side of the plugs.

and also, im needing to know if id be able to get to the intake side's freeze plugs if i took off the entire intake manifold. I already know that i can get to the exhaust side's plugs, all i have on that side of the engine bay is my header, basically.

and also, since im gonna be replacing them, should i do brass or some kind of metal with scuffing and rtv? or would it be alright to use the rubber expansion ones for easier replacement and less corrosion.

i kind of like the idea of placing the plug in the hole and tightening a nut until its snug. no leaking.

help please, theres a decent amount of coolant comin' out of my block

for the plug dimensions? will do.

but id still like some opinions on the metal plugs as opposed to the rubber expanding type...
