Freeware CONSULT Diagnostic Tool for Windows

This caught my eye: a windows freeware version of the Nissan CONSULT diagnostic tool.

The documentation is very weak, supposedly the free version will work with any Nissan with a DDL connection which I think is all models. Not only would this allow you to pull codes, but also monitor all details of combustion and exhaust sensor readings, etc.. If I can find the time I would like to download this and give it a try, first I'll need to purchase a cable, ebay should hopefully have one. Here is the link to the website if anyone is interested:

I think that is only for CONSULT (original version), not CONSULT-II or CONSULT-III which newer vehicles use. I believe CONSULT-II started around 1996 with the mandatory ODB-II port.

Yeah I think you're right, doesn't look like its been updated for late model Nissans.
