I have a group of friends in my town that I always race with. We go to races and shows together. We work on each other's cars together. We are preety much like a big group of best friends that do everything together. Anyway we've been cursed. It all started out a few years back when my friend wrecked his tempo. Within the next year are so he went through two accords and a civic. All of them were wrecked. Then about a year ago another friend wrecked his civic. He bought a eclipse gsx and wrecked that shortly after. That one wasn't totalled. Then It was my turn. I wrecked my s14 two months ago. I bought a gs-t and wrecked that two weeks later. I bought another s14 and backed into a mailbox and f-ed that one up. around that same time a friend of mine wrecked his nissan hardbody. About a week ago another one of them wrecked his civic. And two days ago two others bent there rims on potholes(May sound minor but they were squared after the pothole got to them). That same day another friend of mine wrecked his rsx type-s in the exact same area that the other two bent there rims. And believe it or not that includes every last one of that group of friends.

Has this ever happened to any of you guys?

Sounds like you guys are just bad drivers. I've gotten into accidents, but they were my fault, and were avoidable. I was a new driver. Now, (knock on wood) I don't get into accidents, rarely even close. I've never wrecked a car, just fender benders.

I don't want to sound like an a**hole, but I just drive the speed limit, don't race stupid kids in traffic, and don't do anything stupid when there are people around. Nothing really goes wrong for me or my friends, well except one. He fell asleep at the wheel and totalled his brand new GS-R, but again that was his fault.

Well the majority of them weren't our fault. I just find all of this strange because we've been driving for a long time with good records and them "BAM!!!" All hell breaks loose

geez your insurance has got to be hurting....one thing i noticed your friend with the TEMPO? he went to the shows and races too. hahha......jk. oh, and no never happened to me.......never wrecked a car....smacked a couple curbs but even that was fairly light and while drifting.....if your running over mailboxes, well it took guts for you to admit that so i'm not gonna clown on ya, so i'll leave it at that. but yes bad luck does seem to come in streaks.

Yeah that just plain sucks if a majority aren't the fault of you guys. I'm "lucky" if you can say that, I have horrible luck everywhere else in my life except for my car. It's a blessing, without my S14 I think I'd have gone crazy.

Take some pic's of this massive pothole. Here, were I live, if you can prove that it was the pothole and not improdent driving that caused the damage the city will reimburse you for the new rim or repairs. It was a pain in the ***. Lot's of paperwork and **** but worth it in the end

Ahahahha, that's so funny. Because my mom backed into a tree and put a dent in the bumper when the 240 was hers. Now its mine, and the dent is still there. :(

But what you said is so true.

Nick.

how could they not see the pothole?? Yeah they don't sound like really great drivers if you ask me :-\

they were either going very fast and the pothole was huge, or they were going very fast and they have the crappiest built wheels ever.

The pothole thing is actually very common down here. It was at night and they weren't going fast. It's just bad luck If you ask me.They are getting new wheels from the accident though.

As for the mailbox there is nothing any of you can say to make me feel any stupider than I did when I hit it. Just didn't see it. That's about all I can give for an explanation.
