free trans mount mod!

ok this is so ghetto but hear me out. i was lifting the sr20 complete powertrain with front subframe and front suspension today and noticed the trans mount was broke. i dug up another and decided i wanted it a little firmer. i figure a firmer trans mount will help cut down on powertrain torque effect a little. what do you think i did. lacking a metal fab shop to make me a solid one i just stiffend up the old one. i jammed a used brake pad in there. yup, found that sucker on the floor in my bay(the tech next to me always throws crap in my bay) and slapped it in there. i had to trim it some though.

on a side note...as i was working about a gazillion people came and asked what that motor is. when i told one guy he said, "does it have a cold air intake?" now i had just told him about my 3 inch exhaust, bigger intercooler, etc. but cai was not on the list. i guess since that is like the king of all mods i need to run out and get one eh?

i think it was a front brake pad from a 00 maxima. i had to grind off the squealer too now that i think about it.
