one set gray cloth buckets for hardbody got a set of leather ones and anyone who wants these can have em. I am in montgomery alabama and the seats are in decent shape, a little dirty and drivers side has small peeling of vinyl on the side facing the door and there is a small area on drivers seat about to tear but has not opened up yet right on stitching. But anyone who wants to toss bench can have them if you can get them. email me at [email protected] and arrange to get them.

What's everyone got against the bench seat anyway? I love the fact that I can lay down across it and take a nap, and for that purpose, it's really not that bad. I have driven my truck pretty hard sometimes, and it's not like I can't hold my place in the seat even with all that bouncing around off road. IDK, it's just like it's the biggest thing out there.

I had a bench in my first nissan, try driving a lot on the bench. My back hurt like hell, the buckets are more comfortable to me. I was using my first truck for work, computer repair and was spending 3-5 hrs a day driving, the bench was nice for loading in crap but was not as comfortable as the buckets to me. Now my current came with buckets just went to leather.

Oh yeah, I forgot about the bench seat's poor lumbar suport. My back hurts after long drives, too. Sometimes I have to put my jacket behind me to compensate, and that helps, but good point.

I found one of those sand filled neck rolls behind the back helped. The cool thing about the path finder seats are the drivers side has an adjustable lumbar which makes it better than stock truck buckets. plus the base on drivers tilts. They sit about 1 inch higher, or maybe it seems so as my seat was pretty much sacked out from age. They also being leather are easier to slide in and out on. I am short so the extra height is kinda cool LOL

when I had the bench in my Frontier, it had zero lumbar support, and it was outright uncomfortable after about 50 miles. I did a 2500 mile roadtrip in the truck and that was the end of the bench. I couldn't wait to get that POS out of there.

Ive got to say, I don't find the buckets particularly comfortable either. I have done several four-hour road trips and after about two hours in to the drive all I want to do is burn the seats and spend $1500 on a pair of Recaros.

Unfortunately I have other priorities.

You say pathfinder seats are good stuff? Could I, by that same logic, cram some leather seats out of an '04 QX4 in there? I'll bet they are tits compared to what I have now.

Tossing the bench was item #1 once the truck came home from the lot. I drove back from Tulsa to NY sitting in my P-finder buckets last year...it's the only way to roll. QX4 seats will not work without changing over the rails, different floor plan. Fronty seats on the other hand, including early Xterra (98-99) might work since they share much of the same cab structure with the HB.
