Shell is outside morgantown, WV.It is NOT a roller. It has no drivetrain, suspension, harness, interior, etc. It has a straight chassis, never wrecked, clean WV title (just brought it up from TX this year). Top mechanism and all that will go with the car, though it has 2 holes in it and no rear window. Windshield is cracked but no biggie. Front core support is welded where it cracked.

You will need at minimum, a winch and a trailer to come get this car.

I would just have my brother yank it to the scrap yards but its a clean vert shell and I thought someone might want it. If you want to pay me a little extra I can leave on the doors, hood, fenders, and trunklid. If you come get it for free I will be taking most everything off to part out.

[email protected] if youre interested.

Naaw don't scrap it, I'm sure someone wants it. Put it on Craigslist at least. I saw "free shell" and now I have half a mind to run down there and haul the thing home on my back.

Yeah well I live 4 hours away from where the shell is and I have to be there when someone comes to get it, so its sort of a pain, though I would obviously rather it go to good hands than be recycled...

yep still do. Please read everything in this thread before you email me. I'm tired of emails saying "so does it include the wheels? does it include the suspension? does it include the seats? the motor? will it roll onto a trailer?"

It is a shell. It has no suspension, wheels, hubs, spindles, steering wheel, brakes, sway bars, differential, engine, transmission, seats, front bumper, etc. It will not roll, you will need a winch to come pull it up on your trailer. It is on jackstands now so if you have some of those nifty rollers you can lower it onto those and possibly roll it up on a trailer. I will have to make arrangements to be there when you pick it up and yes I will give you a hand loading it, but I don't have any special equipment to help get it up and since I'm giving it away for free I'm not going to play superman and hurt myself and get all covered in grease. I may keep the fenders, hood, trunklid, and the clutch master cyl, pedal, and lines, and the dash, or I may leave them in the car. depends on if I find a buyer for them and if I have time to take them off. I can always leave them on if you pay me a little for the car as it sits with it all on there. I'm not trying to be a d!ck or anything, but I need to make a 4 hour one way trip to the car to meet you there, and I want to get rid of it but am also parting it out for money (I have a LOT in the car). I'm not trying to hurt anyones feelings but it does take time to answer emails and when people email me 10 stupid questions it is a waste of my time and makes me think youre the kind of flakey person who would have me drive 4 hours and not show up anyway. Please understand all this before you email me just to avoid any further frustrations.having said that, email me if you are interested, the shell is still availablethanks

i just want to let you know, that if the car is ever in jeopardy of being scrapped, let me know. i'll come save it. let me know its deadline for the scrap yard. perhaps we could work something out. if all else fails, hit me up.

please email me what pictures you have and maybe i'd be convinced to just come get it anyway. it's a 6-7 hour one way trip for me so i would definitely not want to waste our time.

well the car will be have to be removed at some point in the next month or so. I was keeping it at my mom's old house, which no one lived at, but my dad ended up buying it and is moving back in, so it can't stay there any longer.

ok. i'll talk to my wife tonight about it. pictures would be great to help convince her that the trip would be worthwhile.

i'll start setting things up to see how this would work out. i can only do weekends for this kind of a trip. so i'd leave on a friday after work and probably get there no earlier than midnight.

i guess, i'll start doing planning from my side. let's stay in touch.

sorry I have been just too busy to email everyone back who has contacted me wanting pics, so I finally got around to taking some pics today of the vert as it sits, with everything that I am going to include.http://www.cardomain.com/ride/157372/11the only things you can't see there are it already has the 5 speed swap done, including the pedals and lines and slave cyl, and it has the 5 speed driveshaft but its missing the differential and axles. Everything else should be visible from the pics as to what is included and what is not. I'm including the radiator as well since I have no other use for it. It comes with clean title still, of course. It is located near Burton WV 26562 if you would like to mapquest to see how far it is.Thanks for the interest now that i have all that information up maybe someone can come get it.

i don't have a free weekend until july 21st. if you'd like to start planning for me to come pick it up then, as sure as the sky is high, i'll be there to pick it up. again, i need time to get my end of things worked out so i can be there when i say i can be there. that requires that we have good open lines of communication.

if you can't wait that long, i can't help you now. we've all ready blown our first good opportunity. if someone else can come get it before then, great. but if it's still sitting there on july 21st and i'm sitting at home because we couldn't make this happen, i'm done trying.

if you're as serious about not seeing this go to a scrap yard as i am about coming down and getting it, we can make this work.

please don't take offense to anything i'm saying as it's not meant to be a personal attack or anything and i'm not trying to be harsh. believe me, i know what it's like to be busy. i can understand that. i'd just love to see this vert in the right hands... mine

you know how to get a hold of me. let's make this happen

I am working now and I have to work on saturday so chances are that I will not be available to meet you at the car when you come get it, but hopefully I won't have to as long as one of my family members can be there to make sure everything goes ok. I will try to talk to my fam and see if someone ca be there on july 21st since I probably won't.

its sitting on a concrete pad on jackstands so you could put suspension on it, you can see from teh pics on the page what you would need to bring. but there won't be anyone to help you or anything.

I am trying to get in touch with my friend with truck and trailer, we could use 2 cherry pickers to get it into the back of the trailer.

I will copntinue to call and email him. I want this for a project!

my brother drives a prentice loader that can lift 5000 lbs but his schedule is crazy and I dunno if he would want to use the company truck for something like that.

also there wouldn't be anywhere for him to put the truck once the trailer was there, cause I am pretty sure he has to be on level ground with the outriggers down to lift something that heavy.
