As with everything else, including the Titan (excluding rare collector cars, obviously).MinisterofDOOM wrote:The Versa looses value once it leaves the lot
would you care if you can resell it for less than its real value, when you got the car for free? say you sell it for 12k instead of 15k would you really care about that 3k when you didnt spend aynthing on itMinisterofDOOM wrote:Right, wasn't picking the Versa out as unique in that respect. I just meant that the free car you're getting can't be resold for it's full value.
Because I'm comparing the value of the free Versa with the alternative low cost of the Titan. Which way do you come out ahead? I'm assuming that if the dealership is giving away a second car with the Titan purchase, you're no longer getting it for the super-super-ultra low costs you can normally get a Titan for right now. So...if you can't resell the Versa for what you would have saved on the Titan alone, you're not gaining anything. Unless of course you're in the market for both a full size pickup and a subcompact...then you win big.Vahagn23 wrote:

Exactly. That's what I was trying to say.AZhitman wrote:^ Correct.
And, you can't combine any other deals, and you basically pay MSRP.
Last I checked on the Titans, you could get one for about half of MSRP, which would mean you're saving roughly the cost of a base Versa.
You still have to pay tax, title, license, doc fees and registration on the Versa, which totals well over $2K.
