Yep, that's a given. I guess just a few kinks aren't any reason to get discouraged. I just had my hopes up for this pristine car... My fault for being too optimistic. Anyway, I'm still going to go through with this project. I might as well. It's not like I have anything better to do. I just wonder if my roomates will mind a car sitting in their driveway in bits for a "yet to be disclosed" length of time. Hell, they have a Saturn in the driveway. I'd much rather have a junked RX-7 in mine. - Chris

If you have the SR and the RX7 is free at least mock it up and see what kind of work you are looking at. If it looks too out there don`t go any further, at that point all you have spent is time.

That's a good deal for $1300 IMO. R32 wheels? TII and headlight conversion at that. No interior? Who cares? carpet and AC is for b1tches!I'd like to have the clip right here with me while I try everything, but it's about 4 1/2 hours away, and I can't pick it up unless I "Swear to god" I'll go through the whole thing, at the threat of being booted in the *** by my close friend. I might just have to do some commuting and spend a weekend doing some VERY thorough measurements to see if it's worth it.Or I'll just have to live with the chance of getting booted in the ***.

worst case scenario, you admit defeat and throw a bridgeport in there to soothe your wounded pride.

I tore the interior out, it was a complete running car when I brought it home. I am converting it to a two-seater and rewiring it so I pulled it all out.

I dunno... I'm almost considering it. TII front clips are dirt cheap. It's tempting. Oh so tempting.... Grrr.... Something's gotta give here.

like I said taht is your fallback plan if the SR don`t work. that should embolden you to drag the car home and at least try the SR.
