Well I thought I would start a post to perhaps motivate ourselves here in Cali to help each other out more as they do in PA. Check this out. padrifting.net This guy set up a free drift event for people in PA, now we gots to start doing stuff like this in Cali, especially Souther California, there are too many drift events but each charge over $110 for a day! Yes that is pricey, but why can`t they make it lower. The people that need to stop drifting on the streets are guys like me, the broke ones, its just not fair you have to have money to be safe. Well, if I had a dope *** spot I would def share it, and do what I can to make sure its all 100% legal like they did in PA, that is so awesome.

Really, we need to do something like this if we are to take drifting seriously. Screw those hard *** competitors who want to be #1 in drifting, its all about fun, and helping each other out. I never drove by another drifter's car and maddogg the way ricers and muscle cars do to each other. We really respect each other's own personal expression in drifting so we should help each other out that way as well. Oh yeah, and I was thinking about drifting at Dodger Stadium, but I heard that it is a big no no, that you can get hella busted for doing it, fyi, so yeah I won't be going there anymore.

Well , to tell you the truth about why events cost so much.... I had a 2.5 hr phone conversation with Alex Pfeiffer a few years ago about this exact topic. I had a little disagreement with Mike from U.S. Drift about the cost of events ect , and i sent Mikes reply to Alex. Alex emailed me and gave me his # and said to call him before this thing between Mike and I got really out of hand. Alex really explained to me why events cost so much money. He told me everything it takes to hold an event and after that i never questioned the cost of events again. $110 is a great price for an event if you really knew everything that went on to hold one.

Yeah I guess Ill take your word on it slappy, I would assume the cost of permits, and other stuff goes on behind the scenes for us to enjoy the day. I just know that $9 is tooooooooo freaken much for a taco a la carte at some fancy piece of crap mexican restaurant. I always pay $1.25 for the real authentic tacos by my house. I just want to make sure the same thing is not happening in drifting, "gourmet drifting", ha. Well if you say so slappy, well props to the guys in pa anyways, its small but its free, sweet deal, thats how we will get better here in the US, I cant wait to save up for my first event its going to be a blast and Im sure worth the $110 or more.
