QX4ME - 96 maxima, salvage title in San Martin, CA on 6/25/02, the car had 43,063 miles on it at the time. Know anything about this?? thats the only red flag that came up

Actually that 96 Max was mine. Bought it new, absolutely no failure. Last May I was at Infiniti lot checking cars, and a guy driving a Escort fell asleep and hit my Max's trunk really hard. Totaled and I received a little over $11K which is almost exactly half of what I paid when it was new ($22,600 out the door, GXE with Security and Convenience PKG).

The next day I bought 02 QX4. I really miss my Max.

Don't mean to waist your time, 240marcuSX, but I'd like to know what carfax would say about the gone poor Max.

Crazy - the first "0" in your VIN is actually a "D." your carfax came up perfect, nothing wrong according to carfax, post your email if you need the report.
