The right side fog light (passenger side) on my '97 Q45 is cracked and I don't want spend $100 on buying a new stock fog light. I'll need the fog light housings for my fog lights project and there's no reason why I should break a perfectly good fog light. So if you have a cracked fog light (driver side) and want to trade for mine I'll do that provide that you pay for the shipping back and forth.

The outer cover are still intact. I don't know yet if I'm gonna need them or not. If I don't need them by the time I install the aftermarket fog lights I'll let you have them.

Thanks a lot! I don't know what foglights you are getting, but I highly recommend the sylvania HID foglights and I might be able to get them for you at a deep discount if you are interested.

I'm kinda short on cash right now so I bought a pair of $14.87 fog lights at Wal-mart, plus they're small enough to fit in the original fog light housings. Do you have the link to the Sylvania HID you mentioned? How much would I have to spend on that set with the discount? I'll be able to upgrade in a few months if the HID fog lights are small enough to fit in the housings.

They looks very nice. However a rectangle fog/driving light won't fit nicely in the '97-'01 fog light housing because the face of the housing is slanted about 30- 35 degrees. I'm thinking of putting 2 small projectors or quartz fog and driving lights in each housing covered by grill like AMG style.

Yeah they were....my best friends dad is an engineer at Valeo Sylvania and is able to get everything at cost. However, 300 dollars is a great deal! Those lights look absolutely amazing and the remote turn on is pretty cool.

My Q(97) recently has a fog light (driver side) went out. I have no idea how to replace the light bulb inside. Can someone please provide some information for that (how to replace the light bulb)? Also, is there any recommendation on bulb replacement? I am looking forward to something brighter from Walmart or ???

Will,The instruction is in the Owner Manual. If you don't have one, send me an email and I'll send you the Owner Manual in PDF.
After taking that cover piece off, there will be 2-10mm bolts that hold the fog light to the bumper.
Putting a brighter bulb in the fog light won't shine the street any better. After all, it's just a fog light. The best way is to convert your headlight to HID. I used the PIAA H3 Ion Crystal for my fog lights.
