Bump!

What are your thought of your car now that you can put your foot on the floor?

You get that thing sideways yet?

He must be out doing it as we are typing this. Hard to type and drift at the same time.

No breaking here, I will also hold off on any drifting for now.

How about breaking the rear tires loose?

Did you have any luck getting traction at the track. I'm guessing since it was your first time launching at the track it took a few runs to learn not to spin a bunch in 1st and 2nd.

I had quite a bit ofwheels spin at the track.Plus Beech bend is kinda s licker track anyway.

Everyone was running a half second slower than usual ( plus it was a hot day).I rant 14.8sec/96.5 mph.

Not good but not super terrible considering it was my first time out at the track with the Z.

Also its baeley driven in ( 2400 miles)

and even on my best runs I still hit rev limiter before shifitng in at least one of the 3 shifts I do per run.

If cooler , maybe fastre by .2?, better shifting.2to.3?

I think mid to low 14's are realistic, bone stock on a good track with errror free shifting.

that was a fluke. I don't have the skill to repeat it. I tried. I need LOTS more practice. but for that ONE run, I found that the sedan is capable of a 2.0 60 foot time with street tires. My other bests are 14.3's.

every thing else on that run was normal. The launch made ALL the difference.

Nice!

I have pulled several 2.0 60' and one 1.8 on the 1/8 mile track. I still need to get to a 1/4 mile track soon.

Dane you still haven't been to a 1/4 track yet. man you need to just take an entire week off of work just so that you know for sure that you can go to the 1/4 track.

Freds been working on his shifting.

You need to practice pushing the back end around before you go adding extra power.
