Freakin low life scum!!!!

Well i have just been had by another low life scum of this planet. I just thought i would go for a quick run to walmart....well i got there no problem. But upon departing i walked to my car only to see that the left back side window(says 240sx on it) was bashed in. Yep you heard right....looks like a rock or something hit it but it had glass all on my back seats. My car also has a nice dent below the window....which just adds to the problem. Well of course i am pissed right now....even more considering that i got the car last week and it had no insurance on it yet. Yeah i know i shouldnt be driving without insurance on it, but it was right around the corner(i know still doesnt justify it). But why did this have to happen to me....i hate putting out money where it could have been avoidable. Well i guess im gonna go cry now.

OH and does anybody know where i can get a OEM replacement. I would love to still have that 240sx logo on the side. Thanks.

Damn yo...sorry to hear that. Sounds like a tonka truck wannabe bumpered it or something? I sure wouldn't hold onto a rock and bash a window. You'd prolly find it inside or lying on the ground.

yeah i know i woulda seen the rock....but i was just explaining how it looked. Whateva it was, it hit the base of my window left a big scratch mark and a dent under the window...so seems like somebody kept going at it. Karma sure is a bad thing yo. Well ima take it to my mechanic today to see the damage on my pocket.

Is there any chance that Walmart got that on the camera? I had a similar experience with my RSX a while back at Target and store security hooked me up with the video in under an hour. They burned a copy to a CD for me and gave the plate info to the police. Two days later, boom! Jerk-a$s had to pay and I didn't pursue hit and run charges because, as you said, karma is a bad thing!!

I will have a set of rear 240sx windows once my local nissan parts dept. gets my window seals for my 180 glass. Prob let them go pretty cheap if you're interested.

Definitely check to see if your wal-mart has security camera's. 99% of them that I know about do. I work for Wal-Mart logistics, and our parking lot is under 24 hour video surveillance. I don't even worry about locking my doors or rolling my windows up (not that there is typically anything to steal....)

Don't sweat it. There's no way to tell by looking at the video tape that your car doesn't have insurance.

Well....the rest is up to Jonny law now. My mom went in for tape being that she is an adult, and she told me as far as the plate number there will be none. My luck that the way i was parked, made it seemed that he just came through the bushes, walked up to the car, and bashed it in. There is a side road behind the bushes so my guess is that he parked his car there. Well the only other thing that my mom could do is to go file a report, which was taken care of on fri. Guess there aint really much for me to do now. But lesson learned, park car closer to walmart, in plain view of cameras. Im just glad it was the small mirror and not something major this time. Well at least it gives me a lil downtime to also consider the auto to manual swap that i been thinking about.

Probably let the windows go for 50+s&h. I'd get the 180 windows installed pretty soon after getting the seal kits from my local dealership but dunno they're taking remarkably long to get. I'll keep you posted as to when they come in and when the new windows are installed.

yeah dude those windows are expensive as hell. My buddy was quoting me 250 a window with the hook up and that didn't even include the molding and seal kit. Those I'm still waiting for since the local glass installer can't get them for some strange reason. So until I can get the install kits, the windows are gonna stay on my car even though I want my 180sx windows put in ASAP. Also got a strange idle issue on my SR but hopefully that'll be resolved tomorrow and that's been keeping me from harassing my buddy at the local dealership about getting those damn parts in sooner.
