freaked out computer

i have a 2005 350z and i do alot of drag racing with it and its also my daily driver but when i stage at the track then light up the tires it seems to freak out the computer :wtf2: . it then will not shift correctly or will just stay in 1 gear. any suggestions or tips on how to avoid that? thanks

Do you have the VDC turned off?

Even with the VDC turned off it's not completely off. There are a couple of devices out there that I'll post up later that will help out. One completely eliminates the VDC, the other allows you to fine tune how the VDC reacts and what it does.

I looked for a whiel and couldn't find the controller that just completely shuts off the VDC, but you could just wire a switch in to do the same function. The Whiteline Black Box Controller allows you to actually tune how and when the VDC reacts, as well as giving you the ability to completely turn it off.
