Anyone know anything about Franklin Cam Servies in NZ? I ran across their webpage and it shows quite a few options for the VH45 including springs and shims.

I have had a couple of dealings with them and they have been very good, had a couple of FJ20 cams done a while back and a Holden 308 cam done a few years back, they have been around for as long as i can remember and is a very well established buisness, if they do brand new cams definiltey go for them as i found with the reground factory cams they have the problem of base circle clearance being increased causing headaches with valve lifter and bucket clearance.
Try kelford cams as well ive heard very good things and seen lots of their cams perform very well.

I've dealt with Adrian from Franklin Cams. Good guy and his stuff, definitely +1 to recommending them! :bigthumb:

they recommend welding to prevent the base circle clearance increasing.

Have always heard that it shouldn't be done however. Anyone heard of any issues?
