Hey guys. I searched for this but didn't find much. There is someone in my area selling a brand new driver side frame rail from Nissan. I'm not sure how the frame rail would be replaced and if it's possible what's involved in doing so. If anyone has any insight or could shed some light for a newb it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

I would lift the engine out first. Then you get it on a lift and secure it with may pump jacks. You do this so the front end does not shift. You need to measure and cut the old one out and grind it all down. make sure to leave overlap. Then weld the new one in. I would tig weld it, nice clean thick beads. Sand, primer, primer, primer, flat paint, flat paint, plat paint, undercoat.
