hey, i recently had the frame and floor done on my 92 240 (front driver side beside the wheel well) but the mechanic sprayed tar **** over it as an anti rust. is there anyway to inspect it without damaging it? i want to know if the mechanic was doing me a favor or burning me for the frame(did a **** job).

Can't know unless you scrape the undercoating off.
