About 2 months ago, I hit a deer with my 240 . . . I thought all was fine when I got it back from the body shop, until I washed it for the first time maybe a week or so after I got it back (this was shortly after the accident, FWIW). As I was washing the passenger side, I noticed that at the bottom of the car, by the front of the wheel well, there was a dent. If someone could tell me if it's frame damage, and if not, how hard it would be to fix, or even "pop" out? Picture attached . . .

Oh, and I don't think it to be frame damage, a few friends have speculated that it might be based on the location of the dent though . . .

Any ideas how easily/cheaply this could be fixed?

Nobody? Sorry for bumping it again, but this has been worrying me ever since I noticed it, and I just haven't had the time to take it in . . . any ideas would be appreciated.

is there any other dent above that dent if there is not then you don't have Fame Damage! I would not worry about it. Also I don't think it would be cheap to take it our since that is a Area that is very strong and hard to pop out.

I wouldn't worry about that if I were you, I have several dents like that on the drives side of my 240 that are very obvious if you stand back and look at it(poor bondo work by previous owner). I am hoping some pdm side skirts will cover them up,eventually.

Thanks for the replies. The only reason I questioned it is because I knew that area of the car to be a structural area, and I wasn't sure how much damage would be required for it to impact the frame. It sounds like it will be a pain in the *** to fix though . . . makes me hate deer even more. Anyway, thanks for the replies . . .

yeah there is definitly no frame damage there...i have a similar dent on my 95, i was told that the dent would hard to fix (its half on the fender, and half on the car under the door). for the part under the door, its hard for them to get behind it to pound it out. so i plan on buying a fender and stock side skirts to cover it up.
