Which FPR are you running? Did it come with gauge or no gauge?

I'm looking at the NISMO FPR but it doesn't look like it comes with a gauge, what's the good of a FPR if I don't have a gauge with it, right?

Let me know people. Thanks!

Im running an upper-end Ebay one. The first one I got was "megan style" or some such nonsense, and leaked out of every possible oriface. It was like $13 plus shipping, some nico members said it was good, but it wasnt. The second one I got was like $40-$50 plus shipping. Works absolutely great (gauge included). Heres a pic of my old one, slightly edited to help someone on a previous thread with line locations or something.

I'm curious as well. Just by swapping my fuel pump with a walbro, I'm getting just over 40psi of fuel pressure at idle and about 65psi at 12psi boost. Which is not good with 740cc injectors..I've been looking at the Aeromotive EFI FPR and it's looking better and better every day. But if someone can vouch for the eBay one, please post a link to the seller, or the sellers store. That way we're not hunting around by pictures only. I'd be interested in trying one. I'm all about testing stuff for the community and posting results if it can save a buck or two.

I agree with eazye2000.

No one else running a FPR? I need to make my decision.

So what is suppose to be good fuel pressure/psi for 740CC? I'll be running the same CC injectors, but 10psi daily.

i've been using the SARD one for almost 8 months now.........no issues. a gauge didn't come with it but u can just screw one in one of the extra holes on it. IMO, go with either aeromotive or SARD.

Jookmasta, is your SARD blue, with a red SARD sticker?

What kind of gauge did you get? And would I need a fuel rail adapter?

Where did you get yours from? I need a FPR. HELP!?

Thanks!

I've had an Aeromotive for about 4 years now and it hasn't let me down. Its worth the price, peace of mind is more important to me than saving a few bucks.

I bought a "Megan" one from ebay user JDMCarrier. The name says it all, quality JDM parts... lol.

But really I've had it for a few weeks and no leaks.However- getting the fuel rail off and on was so freaking horrible... and its all had to install the Nismo Adapter to use the AFPR...

Would you know a site that sells the Aeromotive?

Finding a good FPR is hardwork. L O L

my SARD is red with a blue sticker. it does require an adaptor as does any FPR besides the nismo. the fitting was ordered with the fpr from raretrick when they had a special going on. the gauge i use is a B&M which came from summit. i think rare trick is a sponsor here so if u end up going with the SARD, mention that your from NICO and see what they can do. you wouldn't be in any worse position right? good luck man.

I don't have any sort of engine or fuel management. All I was running at the time was an SAFC. BAD IDEA all the way around. I think base fuel pressure is something like 28-32psi at idle..? It was that much more fuel that you get at idle which was killing me. I'm almost done putting my engine back together.

Anyways, I think I'm gonna go with the Aeromotive EFI Regulator that has -6an lines all the way around. Simple, yet effective. Should be enough with stock lines. Anything larger will be overkill I believe.

[threadjack] Hey, how was your experience with this seller? I was thinking about buying some parts from him and I'd appreciate any feedback you have on him. Thanks. [/threadjack]

I ended up getting the Aeromotive one from a seller on eBay. He even had the AN ORB fittings that it requires too. I also bought the 'Twist Tite' AN fittings from Summit Racing and no problems at all. I did have to get the HKS Fuel Rail adapter though. I'll snap a few pics for you in a little bit.

Hope this helps!

Im running a nismo FPR. Little did I know it most definetely does not fit on the stock KA rail. The adjuster screw hits the head. But I just chopped it down and set it, it works good. I dont have a gauge tho. I had to hook up a separate gauge dial it in and the take it off. No biggy

it went pretty well, they gave me everything i needed to use the fpr, and it works great. im not boosted or anything but it holds soild pressure. the gauge it under the hood, which is no biggie, and definetly not bad for under 30 bucks. Just make sure you buy the nismo adapter for it or else it will not work at all. i also got the item within a week i believe, so yeah, i recommend them
