The engine started bogging down today a bit. It feels like it's going a bit on the rich side, and my useless AFR gauge is reading full rich under any accelleration whereas it used to only read that during high boosting. I just installed a new fuel pump last week, and I remembered hearing that sometimes the FPR can fail when the extra supply of the pump is added.

Way to resurrect a thread that's 4 years old

But no, its a good question.

It's fairly common for FPR to fail under the higher pressure brought on by the replacement of a high flow fuel pump. If you search on NICO you'll find that several people report richer AFRs after switching to the 255lph pump. Best thing to do is put on a pressure gauge and see where you are at.

With the vacuum line off, your FPR should be at 43.5psi. With the vacuum source connected you should be reading 36psi.

Hope that helps if you're having any problems.
