ok so i have a ca with goodies on it as you all know.well on the dyno while hooked to a real wideband it showed i was leaning out at the top of fourth gear.but im running really rich..i have read that a fpr set to 36-37 psi would fix rich problem but if im leaning out in 4th would that make it worse?or is it just that the injectors are maxed out and my best bet is to get fpr and injectors at the same time?would that even everything out?

What injectors are you using? You do kow the engine is under serious load in 4th gear and this will expose the flaws in your fuel and engine managements systems to include, but not limited to (weak fuel pump, failing regulator, poor tuning, etc).

14psi on an SR T25 w/stock injectors? Yea, you're maxing out the injectors.

As Dee said, 4th, and even more so, 5th gear will really show any flaws of the fueling system, and usually it does it in the form of a very damaged motor.

You need to turn the boost down NOW, and get some injectors and a FPR before you turn it back up.

5th gear was shown to have correct fuel tho.its wasnt dangerously lean.well. im never at full boost in high gears anyway.so both injectors and fpr are on to do list.thanks guys.

Or you could turn the boost back down and be safe. Whatever, it's your motor.

Yeah, I totally agree with others...turn that back down to 11-12psi before it has a heart attack and dies.

You're only revving out to 6K? No wonder you're not having more problems.

I'd still turn the boost down...

I'm curious.. so when you netted 224hp, that was on 14psi. What was your psi when you net 205hp?

224 was on 20pounds of boost..205 was on 14.and the guy who "tuned it said that 6k was the rev limit and it wouldnt go further.well.i searched around and found that i paid 500 dolla for the guy to dyno my car and play with my boost controler.i think 6k was the ecu shutting it down so it wouldnt go boom from running lean.he only gave me the sheets for the last few runs so i cant prove this.ugh.im getting dsm injectors and fpr this weekend.and is there anyway that someone could burn me a chip for 450 injectors j30 maf and sr t25? please. the eprom i have is to old to have software.

Yea, he screwed you over. The stock redline is 7K, or maybe 7.5K. It's been a long time since I ran a stock ECU.

i thought it was 8500?and is there anyone that can burn a chip for me?im not trying to change fuel maps or anything.just injectors maf and pump.you dont need dyno time for that unless you want a perfect "to the limit" tune correct?

This one time i accidentally found out that its in the 7,600-7,800 RPM area.Once you deviate from stock you should tune.

Is your ECU socketted?

A pic of the inside of the ECU will tell us if he actually did any tuning or not. There will be a socket installed in the ECU where the original PCM was.
