fpr advice

what brands if any do u guys recommend. and what specs if any, i read in my search something about 12:1 ratio or something. what is that referring too. also if there a difference between the fmu or fpr or is it the same with different terms

Fmu is the name for boost dependent rising rate fuel pressure regulators as far as I know.

The ratio tells you how much pressure the FMU (or FPR) adds. A 12:1 FMU will add 12psi of fuel pressure for every 1 psi of boost.

Ive heard a lot of people using Vortech FMUs. But I have no personal experience with any FMU. I think the XS turbo kit uses a Vortech.

im using a BEGI (bell engineering sumthin sumthin) from my nsport kit. its doin good with my npsort kit i get a back fire everynow and then im think from it keeping it rich too long since my egts will drop down sooo much sometimes after boosting. im selling it now i guess since i got my jwt ecu in yesterday. btw its a 7:1 rate

Aeromotive FPR & AEM are some of the better ones i would buy.
