This week is cruzin' the coast in mississippi so there are like 5000 antique muscle cars on the coast. Of course the fox body guys come out too...

I'm driving along having fun and a fox body rolls up next to me and says "Your gonna need more than that turbo!!!"

I don't think twice i drop to second and floor it... We are door to door up to about 80 (i made the 2-3 shift exceptionally well if i do say so myself)...

I drop off the gas and he does too a second later...

once he is back along side before he can say anything i say "Yah but i can turn this turbo UP!"

He just gave me the thumbs up and cut a U turn.

Man i need an electronic boost controller... Woulda been cool to pull on him...

If its a 5.0, they wouldn't need a *lot* of work to keep up w/ a relatively stock sr I wouldnt think. They are torque mosters and have basically the same power (stock) as the sr.

they put down 220hp and 305 ft lbs of torque weighing in around 3400 lbs I think, GT trim of course, still a good kill though

they defiitely don't put down that power to the wheels. Stock GT's run mid 15's. New rear end gears help out tremendously. I have a friend running 4.11's on his 90 gt with auto, stock otherwise and it runs consistant 15.0's. ran 15.5's before the gears.

i was probibly running about 14.0 to 13.8 with the boost set where it was (actuially a little quicker sence it was from a roll and i can't get less than a 2.2 short time). It was a GT and definately not stock... It had turndowns...

but it was good to know i had more...
