I picked up my Turbo Versa on Wednesday from Louisville, KY. and drove 9 hours straight to my house here in York, PA (680 miles). It was a great job and had no problem at all thank God..haha. I drove around 70-80 miles an hour. My car was set at 7psi for the best gas milage on my long trip. On 93 octane I got 221 miles on 8.8 Gals of gas, then hit the mountains and got 211 on 11.2 gallons of gas so I was very happy with that since it is turbocharged.

Here is a look at a stock Versa compared to mine! What a different the Impul kit made for the look of my car. If you live in the York, PA area and want to see the car, hit me up!

Not a huge fan of the grey lower grill, but on the whole, looks sweet, I like the rims, I think gold/copper is the only way to go on the blue.

I just wish I could afford a sweet body kit... though in truth.. it wouldnt be a good idea given the amount of winter driving I do.

I can tell just from looking at that picture. That is not a grill, that's the intercooler for the turbo.

Do you have a hood, or is it that canvas looking material that covers engine?

Those tires look a little larger diameter than stock. They might be causing as much as a 10% change is distance traveled, resulting is as much at 2-3mpg varience. Otherwise, given the potential increase in power, the mileage isn't too bad. At lower throttle positions when crusing, the turbo will mostly just as drag, potentially reducing overall economy... but afterall.. who cares if you have maybe 180HP without gaining more than 30 lbs. Looks fun without being too extreme.

BTW - where is the hood? Are you waiting on a custom aftermarket hood, or was it just removed for the photo.

I have the stock hood on the car now, ZPI took that shot with the hood off to show off the custom turbo kit I have.

I am waiting on the aftermarket clutch from Comp to be made so I can really stomp on it. In a rolling start out of first gear, you step on it, the tires just roast, it is very suprising how much power this little car can make.

ZPI told me they had 15psi running to it and the motor held the power no problem. The clutch couldn't handle the power at all and they told me the clutch would explode if we run a stock clutch. They backed the boost down to 7psi so I could drive it home from Louisville on Tuesday. Once the new clutch is in the car, you will all see dyno number. I know at 15psi it will put down 270hp, no problem their at all. With displacement of the motor and some basic engineering you can figure out how much power something is going to make. I just don't throw number out their if it can't be done, what is the point of that really. You just end up looking like a dumbass and you don't know what you are talking about. All about creditablity in this and in life.

Just go to StreetFire.net and type in Versa and you can see the video of it. You can hear the clutch slipping a bit when you mass the gas, oh well, it will get fixed.
