As far as my original comment, we as end users don't know what goes on behind the scenes, but we do know that STillen released their prodcts months ago, and now Fox marketing has its kit released for purchase. Regarding who gave who ideas, ya'll can clear that up yourselves, but I DEFINATELY see obvious comparisons between the two, and anyone that can't see that is blind. If it was done as a joint effort, that's one thing, but if it wasn't and indeed designs were borrowed or whatever, that's another. I do remember the original rendering of the kit in its unfinished version, wasn't particularly impressed then and I'm still not... that's just my opinion , nothing more. I personally don't particularly care for the Stillen front fascia either, but again that's just my opinion.
Regarding the kits themselves, I appreciate the choice between fiberglass and urethane, but having had previous experience with both, I would NEVER purchase a fiberglass kit... when they don't fit perfectly, they can be a BIT*H to try and make fit. They aren't very flexible, and if they have imperfections, they show through when paint is applie- they look like spider web cracks! Specifically, regarding the foxmarketing kit, I think the front is too smooth for the lines of the Altima coupe, it just doesn't seem to mesh well in my opinion. And the back looked pretty bad in its pre-production version, maybe the final version is different.
In regards to loyalty, umm yeah, with the numerous group buys and excellent customer service, it'd be hard to find a Nico member that isn't appreciative of everything Stillen has done. Not to say that folks don't appreciate other companies developing parts, but don't just expect folks to except anything thrown at them.
In regards to someone's comments about the springs, I thought it was mentioned that they lowered the A/C two inches. I thought someone stated that it was done by cutting the springs... that ride is probably awful, so that's not something you would want to mimic.
Again, I don't work for Stillen and I'm not sponsored by Stillen.. but as a consumer of products for the A/C I def have opinions on the products.
In regards to foxmarketing in general, I have other comments, but I don't want to unfairly slander them on this online forum,I'll contact Foxmarketing directly for that
