Four month report

I purchased a 2011 Rogue AWD w/ SL pkg on April 5th. Now four months and 8000 miles later there has not been a single problem or issue.

Did first oil change at 1800 miles and recently did second at 7800 miles. Used Pennzoil Ultra Synthetic for both, car consumed no oil whatsoever over the 6000 mile OCI.

I had planned on buying a V-6 Kia Sorento, but my wife did not like the appearance, and instead got the Rogue.
I'm very happy with the decision.

thanks for sharing your experiences. I was using exactly the same oil and exactly the same interval and my rogue has 50k miles now without any issues. However, I switched to Mobil 1 synthetic low fuel consumption??(0w30) oil during the last oil change and it used 1 quartz in the last 5k miles. Note that every single day here is >100F, this maybe the reason... Anyhow, going back to your combo in the next oil change interval.
