Says it came from a 350hp N/A KA SOHC. I don't think that's possible. The QR25 in the Cunningham Sentra doesn't put out that much N/A.

Discuss!!!!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAA!

Please. If there WAS an N/A SOHC putting out that kind of power, we'd know about it.

Besides, every piece of literature I've read on the SOHC and DOHC KA heads says they're pretty well-designed, and port/polish produces minimal gains.

The seller is a clown.

Time for some "Ask This Seller A Question" action...

let me get out the B.S. card .now thats done, and we would know. This uber duber number must be on juice. 40hp from p/p is alot unless you redesigned the entire head or shave the hell out of it, which then maybe he did with 14.5 to 1 comp. ratio. IF IT SOUNDS TO GOOD TO BE TRUE,then its on egay

He must be one of those guy's..."My intake gave me 50hp and my exhaust gave me 50 more"..Then yes,he would think his ka had over 300whp..When i bet it only had 160 or so...If he had this powerful perfect ka making over 300whp NA!!! he sould atlest have the Dyno cart up!!And pictures of all the car Magazine's he's been in.For making this incredible engine...LOL If you going to lie atlest make it alittle bit believable..Come on guy..Over 300 horsepower...NA /KA

Feel free to invite the seller to NICO so he can be properly educated.

along with no flow bench numbers i am going to call bs. maybe he meant 40 hp increase with an aftermarket cam, 3 angle valve grind, stainless oversized valves etc..

hehe... what compression pistons, cams and other internals would it really take to get that kind of power out of a KA? I mean if you ran like 16:1 compression ratio and really high octane racing fuel, along with all forged and lightened internals so it would rev like an F1 car. There might be a small place between like 10,000rpms and 11,000 rpm's where you might make that kind of power. Maybe that’s what he meant

BS talks, dynosheet talks.

If I was trying to sell the highest HP output KA ever heard of, I'd have a dynosheet to back it up.

well all of you are right this is bs...but there are two kind of worlds in modifying bussiness..there is a world with people that like to go online and get numerous amount of questions asked about their crazy projects and love to talk about... and then there is this world where people do frankenstien mods to their car and not go online and tell the whole world...trust me.mainly its with the american muscle crowd cause they just dont give a ****..but there are plenty of people that just keep their stuff to them selfs...so AZ when you say "why would WE not have heard about it" i just want you to think that mabey we dont kno about it all....im sure im going to get flamed about this comment but...just think about it, im just looking on the other spectrum...and ive build a sohc before and my dyno slips we 189 to the wheels, and that was NA.i dont have the dyno slips becuase it was soo long ago that i built and ive moved many times....and there wasnt that much spent building it either, just a lot of people who have been in the buisness for much longer of a time and know ALL the little tricks to making a car faster....but 360...is a bit much, mabey with a 400 shot of NAWS

you need to back it up, anyone can say I got 200 to the wheels and it be b.s. but a dyno can show people you do have 200 to the wheels. the ebay listing is b.s. like I already said he'd have to shave it to death.

I highly doubt he got even close to those numbers on a NA bulid.

lol, that is hilerious.

The biggest give-away as too the bull here is: They never even show a picture of the porting, or the polishing. SO they show a head that is kinda-cleaned up, but not really, and they dont even show what they are trying to sell.... looks like some kid is selling a warped SOHC head for a massive profit.

definately a Nissan Motorsports piece....

Tony's right, there's are "underground" projects like that.

However, they almost always "leak out", and we *still* hear about them, even if they're "urban legends".

189 on an NA KA isn't unrealistic, we have a couple here ni Phoenix. That's pretty close to the upper limit, and is a damn nice engine.

I had a CRAPTON of work done on my block and head at one of Arizona's premier machine shops. Basically spared no expense, and after flow bench testing, they said there's not much to be gained on the KA head. In other words, they could have taken a lot of $ from me, and didn't, since it wasn't going to offer any real gains.

I agree wit tonynali, Theres lots of ka's that make more power than 200 to the wheels. About 10 years ago I saw a truck (2wd) and I think it was in an offroad magazine....had about a 3page article wit pictures. it was a landspeed/saltflat hardbody and it was a 300hp KA E. every once in a whille I try searching the net about it but I have never seen anyhthing on this truck other than that mag.
