I found this beauty just kinda randomly driving around in my hometown... I dont really have too many details on it yet but i do have a few... Sorry for the crappy pic... its a cell phone special... ill post more in a few days... Heres the car:

1981 280ZX Turbo TTI inspected the outside and found only 1 bondo spot about the size of a CD on the driverside fenderBlack paint (will need new paint job eventually)almost no rust (under my inspection)tan interior in good shapeOdometer says 34,xxx but im sure its 134,xxx or 234,xxx... I think probably the first oneHeres a crappy pic:

Heres the best part... for $1300 OBO

Im gonna go back and do a little closer of an inspection... but what do yall think?

Also, does anyone know where i can get a history report done for free? or does anyone who has a unlimited search carfax or autocheck membership want to help me out if I email you the VIN #?

Thanks alot guys! Look forward to your opinions!!!

not bad, these are getting more pricey for clean examples, if it's a 5 speed jump on it! most of them were auto and well thats no fun the engines are fantastic and plentiful, the stock injection system sucks for making big power but still has plenty of potential, look for rust int he rockers, the wheel wells, the "A" pillar base, hatch, lower rear quarter panels, floor pans and behind the seats, as well as the frame rails where the suspension bolts on, they tend to not rust as bad as earlier cars but still can rot when neglected, keep us posted

duh, it's an 81, all 81 turbo's were automatic, they also use a hollow distributor and a crank mounted CAS, very unique, but still seems like a deal, not too hard to add a pedal

Ah thanks for the info man... this car is a little new to me... not quite like the maxima i drive ... One thing for you folks to ponder as you give me opinions.. its hard to see but the winshield has chrome around it but only on the right side. The rest has broken off. Easily fixable? Thanks again fellas!!!

Just found out under really close inspection that there is almost NO rust ... But what I think is the coolest is that the original color is a bright midnight blue color... still havnt called the guy for a test drive though
