Hello, my 99 q45t has 148k miles and last week i got the check engine light, I got it checked at autozone and the codes read, 2 oxygen sensors and 2 knock sensors and cylinder 4 misfire detected. Let me tell you about the symptoms of the car. It started off with a little jerk and vibrate than slowly it came to the point where it shook nonstop and even above 30mph.

I bought 1 coil pack and 8 ngk plugs. 2 oxygen and 2 knock sensors. I started with the coil pack. I changed the #4 cylinder coil pack and right away the shaking went away. Than I replaced all 8 plugs, disconnected the battery and reconnected
to reset the computer and guess what. I drove 100 miles 5 hours in the Vegas heat and it rides perfect. So I will return the sensors and start with the auto trans filter gasket oil change.

Total hours that it took to change the plugs and coil pack was about 3.5 hours. Cost coil pack $95 oem, 8 NGK plugs about $35 Shipped Labor Free lol

Good Luck Let me know if you have any other questions

Glad to hear that your car is working well now :dblthumb:. Is that why you are returning the sensors? Did you check the codes again after the work you did?

Thanks, after I changed the coil pack and plugs the check engine light went off, so no codes detected. I think when the coil and plugs go bad they make the sensors malfunction.

I no longer need the sensors so I will return and use the money to change trans filter oil and gasket, I have a small trans leak.
