Hey guys.

I found a guy on Craigs List selling some wheels. 19X8. Really REALLY good price. The only issue is they are a 50MM offset. The tire size I want to run is 245/35R19. I was wondering if anyone is running a similar wheel size with a 50MM offset and if you needed to use any spacers or anything. Nothing staggered. Not lowered. Just wondering if anyone has done anything with that offset. I know I'd probably rub if I was lowered, but just wondering with stock ride height.

P.S. I tried the search feature and didn't find much. Found a bunch of stuff talking about our stock offset (45MM), but nothing beyond that. I know I've seen plenty that go for more aggressive offsets (35MM, 28MM), but I was just curious.

Thanks for the help in advance!

Hey dude!

50 will make the wheels sink in more... you might wanna throw some ichiba 15mm spaces on there. Should look solid that way. Make sure the bore matches too, otherwise you will need hub centric spacers. Ichiba makes both.

Now with all this being said... you shouldn't rub with the at stock ride height, but it might look "hella sunk" as they say. The stock wheels are close enough to that as it is.

Good luck!

Yeah i thought i might need some spacers with that high an offset. They are actually maxima wheels from the sv model. Think ill need those hubcentric adapters?

You shouldn't need spacers

I thought i might. But the wheels are 8 inches wide rather than the stock 7.5 i believe the 17 inch wheels run. We shall see.

Well its half of an inch wider than stock which means it will stick out half of half (quarter) of an inch more in millimeters. So it will stick out about 7 mm more, assuming the new wheel also has a a 45mm offset. Since the new wheel's offset is 5mm bigger, the new wheel will only stick out 2 mm more than before (7mm poke from going with a wider - 5 mm from going with a larger offset = 2mm more poke)

I was more worried about it rubbing the suspension. The calculator i used said rubbing on suspension might be possible with this set up.

I see what you mean. But you shouldn't unless I did my math wrong. Well idk what tire size you used.. Maybe if you were running a really high offset like +65 then I would be worried about rubbing on the struts. But if you're worried, a 5mm spacer wouldn't hurt

The Maxima wheels didn't work out. Looking to just grab a set of wheels brand new. Looking to go semi aggressive and eventually lower it when funds are available.

But to the point. If anyone is running the setup, can you post pics of what 20" (non chrome preferred) wheels look like on our cars? The ones I'm looking at are 20x8.5 with +35 offset and are multi spoke. Any help is again appreciated.
