I don't think a J should be lowered. You may have alignment issues. Besides, the J looks good with its stock height.

Joe at everythinginfiniti.com

They also now have a lesser cost timing belt kit with just the belt and water pump .Just what I need .

Go to the J30 section and on the pull down menu go to Kits .

Lower springs don't always equal stiffer springs.

Hey man-I'm new here so forgive me if you've already answered this. What size rims and tires are you running? I'm close to purchasing seventeens clad in 235/45-17 shoes, probably Yokohama AVID W4S or Falken ZE 452 for the quiet ride as well as the handling. I like the lux-sport ride I have now and though I like the lowered look, I'm not sure about ride comfort. Clue me in, eh? Also I'm an 'ODB' and unsure about going with chrome rims or the low-slope look. They already look at me like I think I'm 25-chuckle. I say flyck 'em. What do you folks think about all this (please be gentle)?

You mean riding lawn mower off-road.

I'd go w/rims no larger than 18's. Any larger than that & you'll have clearance issues, worse gas mileage, & they'll look uber ghetto.
