About 10 miles south theres a gas station that sells it, pure 100 octane (us method, higher octane than Japan's 100) and its unleaded, unoxiginated.

Guess how much it costs! 2.47 a gallon. Yeah thats right, 20 cents more than 91 premium. We're excited, first place we've found with anything higher than 91.

Anyone else have a 100 octane station around? If so how much is it per gallon? I'm a bit suspicious of it really being 100 and unleaded. I put in a few gallons and advanced my timing all the way and got some decent performance boostage w/o knocking so its at least better than 91.

We got one station that sales 103 octane ( I am pretty sure it is 103).

It was 3 dollars a gallon three years ago when I use to run some in my motorcycle.

You do not want to run aviation gas in a car or motorcycle, its formulated for high altitudes and airplane engines.

Avgas usually has an octane rating of 114 and can be used in motor vehicles safely.

I used to run a 50/50 mix of avgas and prem going to the track.

Im a student pilot and needed to fill up after a lesson. Our airport used to have both 110 Low lead and 91 unleaded. On this day they had no 91 so i got the 110. Poor old 240Sx loved that ****. Gutted cat with no muffler is one loud *** car. I used to run that 110 in my go-cart for awile untill it blew up(un releated to the 110). That cart would do 60 down my road.
