Found oil on spark plug 1

Crap, today I was getting ready to change my plugs and I noticed that the #1 spark plug had alot of oil on it. When I looked in the hole I could see oil, but all of the other plugs where alright, just alittle dark. What do you guys think caused this?

Possibly the valve cover gasket. Not the one on the outside, the little rings that fit over the spark plug holes. Pull the cover off and take a look at the gasket (it will probably stick to the head)... check for cracks/cuts/etc, or if it was misaligned.
