For those of you who didn't hear, my car got stolen on June 1st. Here is the thread. zerothread?id=119481I went to identify the body yesterday. Thieves suck.

The parts they did leave inlcuded my Nismo mounts, Tanabe Sway bars, Nismo Power Brace, and Origin roof wing. But the sum of the parts would just offset the cost of the towing and storage fees so it would not be worth it to take home. Bastards. Time to start on the next project...

that blows, your car was gorgeous. did they take the wheels too?

just find out what junkyard they sell the chassis to and buy back the parts you want. or make them a deal, offer them a couple hundred bucks, it's more than they'll get from a yard.

That sucks man but at least you got the some of it back. Have you though about rebuilding? your going onto another project anyways and this way would be cheaper + you would have a good Idea of what you would have done different from the first time.

Sorry to see you loose all that stuff, Its horrible to see those who are to worthless to achieve on their own succeed at the expense of others

I agree. Your car was really nice, I admired it. Here's to the next project, claim as much you can with your ins, and get a bitchin' alarm. Did you car have a alarm btw? (not that it probably mattered in your situation).

Everyone keep an eye peeled for these parts.

If you find them for sale near where the car was stolen, let's keep some record here of it.

Definately...look out for an SR with a NISMO cap on eBay, etc. I'd be heartbroken...seriously. All that hard work gone away because of some nutless biatch. Good luck with the MIata.

HOw much do they want, for you to take the car back? I think it won't be that high! Since there is no engine or anything other then the shell!

SO I don't think it should be more then $200. it sad to watch or here a good condition S13 Fame getting crush!

Sorry to hear they man. hope everything works out!

I'm sorry man...that really sucks. That was a sweet car. I'll watch eBay...

Good luck with the Miata. I just read (in Super Street?) about them putting a Honda S2k engine in a Miata...there's a project for ya...

I know you poured a lot of blood, sweat, and tears into that car, man. I have no qualms about wishing misfortune and bad luck to whoever comes into contact with those parts whether they know they are stolen or not. Lets all hope that motor blows up on them since they like to go the easy route of doing things.

Good luck on your next project. I hope it brings as much satisfaction as your former car did.

Whatever you do though good luck with it...

I knew someone would bring up the SR20 into the miata. If I was to do any swap with a miata it would be a rotary. The SR20 is a great engine but i would much rather have a rotary in the miata.

Holy crap man. Thats horrible. All that work down the drain just because of a couple of ****ing punks. I feel very strongly about anything that is done to another persons car. I hope you find out who did this and they get whats coming to them.

Sorry to hear this rudee. BUT here's the good thing....they left the bumper support for the front conversion (if they are putting it on someones car). The USDM support won't work, unless you spend like an hour of modifyin it like I did. Once they see the 3" gap, they'll be pissed, and I doubt they will be able to modify it right. Good luck on whatever project you do.
