HI,

I found a company in the states that custom make JE Pistons for the ca18det to any specs you need.

Here is there reply Set of 4 JE Forged 2618 pistons with wrist pins and rings is $595.00

If any one is interested, let me know, will try to get a group buy.

That's a fairly good deal on some slugs, but some rods will be good as well. I think Carrillo rods have them in stock for the CA18 for over $1000 U.S. dollars and I think that is ridiculous.

Hi,

My JE's were $625 IIRC (£412 deleivered to UK) from Top End Perfomance with total seal rings, about $50 less with std rings.

Try http://www.pauter.com/ for rods, think they were $750ish delivered to UK, I didn't order them but a friend did (Jez, who is also a member here) but they look like this.

Does anyone know if pauter stocks these rods? It's amazing that alot of aftermarket companies don't have CA18 applications prepped and ready for shipment. The engine is still widely used and there a bunch of people such ourselves who wants access to a broader market for our beloved CA's. I guess because they don't break so easily that they don't make stuff readily available;) .

not sure if they stock them now, but they didn't used to, as jez sent them a stock rod to copy. they should have the pattern on file now though.
