I found these last week at a shop I used to work in. They have been in storage since around 2005 and were complete from air box to pumps. There was one first gen, five second gen, and one second gen fresh off the dyno and never installed. One of the engines was Eddie Cheever's Pikes Peak Winner the only Infiniti to win in the IRL. Just a little bit of history I thought was pretty cool.

Someone needs to put one in an s13 and race the local hooligans on the Appalachian Downhill.

That's a pretty sweet find. Is the shop willing to sell them any of them?

2 are going into a street car (have no idea what), 3 are going to Bonneville, 1 on display, 1 getting parted out, and 1 I'm keeping in storage.

Could you please email me about the last engine you have?

sdeanl------gmail---com

I have a V8 Nissan project that I originally intended to use one of these engines but ended up with a 4.1 Q45 swap and I'd like to finish the car the way I originally intended.

If you are dead set on keeping the engine then could you let me know where some more would be available, (I'm sure whoever you bought them form can point you in the right direction)

I think I can make you a reasonable offer.

Cheers,
-Sean

It'd last you 15-20 hrs before needing a rebuild. The rebuild would cost you more than the average person pays for medical school.

Done, It's the new one with the Magnetti Marelli ECU, filter, plugs, carbon battery tray, and ECU tray. It would run fine detuned on Gasoline. To detune it would cost around 5k
