"found" fire damaged 300zx,would these parts be safe to use?

car looked like someone through a mov tof cocktail at it.the only thing that wa.s not damaged were the brakes .i took the calipers,because thats all i had time for. i have new project mu rotors for the 300 zx.do you guys think the calipers would be alright with a rebuild kit?will the calipers bolt on the same were the 240sx calipers mounted?im just using the fronts do i need the mc from the 300 because i did not grab it.thanks for your help.i did do a search .//

They'll probably be fine, since calipers probably get just as hot as the fire that burned the car anyway.

Just get a rebuild kit from PDM Racing, and no you don't need a MC, I don't have one and I'm completely content. And yes, it'll all bolt up, you DO need the stainless conversion lines. It's a pretty straightforward swap. Google it for more info. It's there, on several sites.

thanks for your help.that kind of looks like the blue i chose at the powdercoating place.im thinking about the project mu green.im going to sell the rear calipers then.

Hehe.. I like to call it.. "Old Ford Blue"Now, as for the blue that people typically use for powdercoating.. That was done at Keystone powdercoating.. I think that's what their name was. They're located in PA. $50 or so for the powdercoating.. Not too bad.. Now I just need to powdercoat my upper intake manifold/strut bar
