found boost pistons for the vh

I just got off the phne with cp pistonss in california. I was told that 3 years ago they made a one off for someone with a vh45 using stock cams and stroke but with a 1mm overbore and 9.0 - to - 1 compression.

I was told that they also still have the measurments and that exact piston can be ordered thru one of theyre distributors. It is however made to order and still at the custom price. But its good to know you can call up any distributor and place an order and have it in 2-4 weeks time.

Just an fyi for all you boost heads.

They will be making me an 5 mm over bore 11.5 to 1 compression piston for my application. With the valve reliefs cut for a .500 lift cam.

well the motor is gonna be 5 liters so i would like to think that with the cams and itbs i should at LEAST put 380 to the wheels.

Its about 125-130 per piston.

Just found some forged rods too. They can be had for just under 475 and should cost less than 100 to make them work.

what is the spec? eg.. hp rating? material?retro fit for VH45? or need some modification?
