Ultimately, the strength and quality of metal/steel product depends heavily on the weld points. Find out if their products come with a warranty, and if they have a return policy - that way if you do purchase something, you can pretty much judge for yourself if the welds are going to hold before you even bother installing it.

He makes some great stuff with excellent reviews from what I've seen in the past... you'll have to email him to see if he has any made or if he's still making them though because last I heard he wasn't doing too much of them due to being busy with his real job and such.
