So I found a set of FX35 OEM wheels and have all the caps. I sent them out to a media-blaster and took them down to bare metal for Powder Coating - Anyone recommend new lug nuts? Anything I should watch out for size wise and what is a good set with locks? With the wheel covers it won't make an issue with how they look but more just for function - Thx

do your rims use the shank style lugs? many of the newer nissan/infiniti rims do.
don't use tuner lugs.
i have the correct nissan part number for shank lugs if you need it

Hi - yes that would help if you have the correct part number - I want to put all new lug nuts on when I get the rims back - Thank you
When I picked up the used FX35 rims this is what he had in a box with the rims:

best to have a picture of the rims showing the lug seats. that should tell us what you need.
very possible the seller kept the 'good' shank lugs whether he needed them or not and gave you the generic ones.

Ok- rims are still at power coating stage - and then I have to work on matching up paint for the plastic caps and match the powder coat - The powder coating place sent me to a local shop that can do that - Once I get them completed my mechanic's shop is going to mount the tires and we are going to figure this out - and we can seat the rims then once they are back and see if the original ones are going to work - I don't expect a big difference in the mount setup but we will have to wait a see...

Just got them back from Toliver - they are at Forest Hill and Garden just at the tracks east of 95. Excellent job -
just have to finish the center caps. These guys are buried in work but have such a good rep I decided to let them have a shot at the rims. And they are reasonable - $100 per rim - but you have to wait - they took a month to get them done. One thing we pre-fit the rims and when we got them back there was so much material at the center where they seat we had to grind off the powercoating to get a perfect fit so they seated flat on the lip of the centers - there was so much material when you mounted the rims it was preventing an easy fit against the disks.

I need the female plug off the security light plug bezel! And the two rubber hood bumpers on the radiator support! The car I was picking was crushed yesterday.

That mileage is up there and she looks great - I went to Toliver in WPB - you have to wait and they are super busy and not open on Saturdays... I am still sorting out my 2 bad rims and bought 2 replacements. I have to take them now to Toliver and match up what they did on the original 4 -

It looks super solid, FX rims are awesome!!! I have the same color on my 97' and the color is for sure one of the best for 2nd Gen Q's.

I have to say the paint in the green on my 99 is supurb - it's not a 3 stage but it has pearl in it from the factory - it really is a beautiful paint - I thought I wanted black but when this low mileage opportunity came up I couldn't pass on it - I currently have 53k and only drive 1.5 miles to work - shes a keeper -

The Green paint (I have the same pain) is one of the nicest colors ever on a car. I love it!!
