Found a parts car, whats interchangeable?

Hey guys

I havent been on here in a little bit....Busy getting ready for the whole college thing.

I recently ran across a parts Maxima, 89 GXE and was wondering a few things. I didnt want to buy some things and not have them work so I figured I'd give a quick question or two here and save myself a few bucks.

1st off...My max was wrecked when I bought her...so the airbag was blown...I have new bags but my sensors still shot...do the 89's come with airbags and if so are the sensors interchangeable?

2nd...My rear passenger side window is causing me problems...I believe the window track is worn or something (I'm goin to tear it apart after I get back from Erie today) but I figured I'd ask in advance....are those interchangeable as well?

3rd...I was playing around with the idea of MAYBE putting the tail lights from it onto my max....but idk if I really like them better or not....but just for reference...can a swap those??

Well I think thats all for now...The bodys shot on it....the engine has about 170,XXX miles so I'm not really wanting anything else...

'89 did not come with airbags to my knowledge--I don't think they were even an option until 91 or 92.

Window track is interchangable, yes.

The 89 Tail lights will work fit yours. If you do swap them, might be interested in buying the ones from your car.

Are you buying the entire parts car, or just some parts from it? I could use a few parts for my 93...

I was just going to buy the parts but I'm not sure yet.

I'm headed up to erie to buy my books for school today so I'll call them when I get home. If the car is cheap enough I might buy it all...what are you looking for? I could see if it still has it...cuz the car has been picked over somewhat...the headlight assemblys are gone but signal lights and such are still there. Some of the interior has been taken but I think thats about it.

Gah, headlight is what I need the most. Driver's headlight housing.

I had a list of 3 or 4 more things in my mind a while ago and now I can't think of any of them. Oh well.

What color is the car (in and out?)

lol yea they're gone man sry

the car's white...but I really dont think any of the body is salvageable (without ALOT of bodywork) except for MAYBE the hood.

so yea...the more and more I think about it I'm leaning more towards not buying the car (granted this is only a few HOURS later lol) If it was a 5spd...I would think about it....if it was a 5spd SE I would definately think about it....but idk I've also heard that the 5spd Max's have transmission problems....but I've never had that confirmed....

I definitely wouldn't buy the whole thing--especially if it's already been picked over--if you only need a few things from it.
