i havent searched past these rims, but i think im in love

ive always been a fan of the 98 00 7series rims.

the site is wheeldealersdirect. it had 32 pages of 18 inch rims in sizes up to 10 inch to fit the G50.

i only got to the second page!

Those 740i Sport wheels are nice. Those loom pretty similar, except for being 2 piece. And BMW makes some nice meshies for the 240 fans. Too bad they dont fit though...

Hmm....no NISMO, Vol Racing, Work, BBS, Fikse, OZ.

Mostly a lot of poseur wheels.

What I find most interesting though, is no one here really has wheels of those brands you list... but tons of "poseur" wheels. (I actually don't call them that... I just call them low-quality Taiwanese wheels, which, unfortunately, is what they are.)

Just looked at the site...Listing offsets should be mandatory! But there are some decent brands on the site.

It's not necessarily a matter of the name brand, but the quality that comes along with the name. I *WISH* no-name wheels were made of the same alloys, using the same processes, and had the same quality construction and overall finish than the name brand wheels, but unfortunately, in this world of ours, that is just not the case. There's a reason cheap stuff is usually cheaper, and that's cuz they were MADE to be cheap in the first place. There's nothing inherently wrong with running doo doo wheels if you really like the style, but don't expect them to be available in the best fitments, and definitely don't expect them to look all that good upon close inspection. Most cheap wheels usually have irregular edges/corners/lines due to poor manufacturing, and the finishes are usually also irregular and blemished. Perfect example would be to look at a typical made in China/Taiwan bling bling chrome wheel sold at the local wheel shop and then look at a bling bling chome wheel made by a company such as Work. You will notice that the reflection off the cheaper wheel is very wavy, and the chrome "curls" around the edges and alters their radius, also in an inconsistent manner. Granted not everyone wants a bling bling wheel, but once you see the glaring differences between a cheaper chromie wheel and its more expensive (name brand or not) counterpart, you will start noticing the minor differences in the non-bling style wheels

Analogy... Ralph Lauren jeans vs. Old Navy jeans... both work well, both can last a long time, but in all honesty, the Old Navy ones have irregular stitching and coloring, and just don't feel as good to wear even after broken in. If name brand is such an issue, you get the better pair of jeans and tear the badge off and just revel in the fact that you paid good money for good jeans, regardless of the name that was once attached to them
