I found a 1990 q45 that was owned by a 79 year old lady and has only been started regularly since 2012. It has 69,900 miles and looks really nice. Not interested in keeping it. Could somebody tell me if I could get 2500 for it. I live in North Dakota and have not seen many of these. Any advise would be appreciated.

:welcome: to NICO! Depends on what's been done to it, and it's condition, but I think that's possible.

It's as it was new, no modifications. Regular service and newer tires.

Confirm timing chain guides have been replaced or not. And dont go by word of mouth. Documented proof. Thats the big question

With a car this old honestly you need to be buying a low miles car for the cosmetic condition entirely, because much of the things that higher mileage Q owners have to deal with still apply.. Things like chain guides, injectors, plenum hoses, knock sensors, random seals, transmission mount, driveshaft, subframe bushings, etc. That said for a couple grand you can bring it back to good mechanical condition and have a really nice looking car. The original Q's, 90-92 IMO, are just about impossible to find anymore with low miles and good condition.

Thanks, I'm probably just going to run it through the local auction and see if I can make a few bucks on it.

You don't have a desire to keep it? That's the first year of the car and brand that literally started it all.
