Hey guys,I found a 92 240 on the net in the berlin area.Dealer is asking 700usd because the engine sounds a little sick.I'm thinking about picking it up and drop in a brandnew 240 bare engine used for training purposes by Nissan Europe some years ago. (sometimes working close to the source is great...)Question ; what would it take to make the car perform anywhere near my 5.0 5spd GT?

Greetings from the cheese and dope country

What engine are you going to put in it? The SR20det or the CA18det?

What are the times on your car? 1 fourth mile or 400m?

A complete new 2.4 engine from ????? it's complete with intake and exh manifold.I never put my GT on the track (no official strip in Holland) but apart from K/N filter and turbo muffler it's bone stock with 100k on it. Could it be that my Q45T is faster on the 1/4 mile?

It's a 5spd.A friend just bought a 1989 S13 with CA18DET (burnt piston and sloppy turbo), we will use it for race course training next year after the rebuild......

A 50 to 75 shot should do it.

The gt should run mid/low 15's depending on your launch/shifting.
