1990 240 sx SE only option is AC and automatic. The lady is asking $1800. 134,000 miles, cold air intake, an unknown make of aftermarket exhaust. Unfortunately I did not take any pictures of the car. There are a few dents and scrapes but nothing too substantial. The interior was a bit rough inside. Torn driver's seat driver's side door trim was ripped and I could see the foam insulation. I enjoyed the experience of driving the car it ran just fine to me. Acceleration was strong, though come to think of it now, I do remember that the transmission shifted into second or third a bit harder than I'm used to. I normally drive a 2002 Mitsubishi Galant. There was one slight knocking noise on the front passenger side while either braking or turning, I can't rememeber which now. I noticed that the front passenger wheel well is shredded up a bit. Don't know what that could be from, the tires perhaps or road debris. She says the car was purchased from someone in California. I got the VIN from her and entered it into CARFAX for the free record check, came back with 17 records! VIN: JN1HS36P4LW140107

If someone could please check this VIN for me I would greatly appreciate [email protected]

Thanks in advance.

Hey i see that you are in iowa, sioux city. If your willing to trave to Des moines, my friend has an 91 240sx se 5 spd for sale. Power windows and semi power locks. The engine seems to had an rebuild, it's nice, quiet, and pulls strong. No timing chain rattle or knocking at all, way better than my engine. The car has an veilside front bumper and comes with rail works side skirts and rear bumper. He's asking 2500 firm. Just letting you know for posible options. If intrested 515-979-9181 his name is AE (if you can't pronouce that just say "AIR" he's use to that for strangers). If you want pictures i can get some

I Would look around alittle more!

$1800 is what I pay for my auto HatchBack that I sold! It only had 80K, Power window, D/L, Cold A/C and New belts and chain. That was in better condition then what the one you are looking at ,it sounds like! Also CARFAX Sucks! They don't do jack!

Reason Why I say this is because I had the worst luck in my 97 Civic back in 2000.

I had 4 Accident all pay for by my Insurance, And when the Kid Ran a Car Fax on it. THe Report said No accident! LOL

Another Exmp

My buddys 96 240SX has a Salvage Title on his car. But when the person ran a Car Fax on the car. The Report said No Total/Salvage Title and said it has a Clear Title.

I can list about 50+ more people that I know or over heard from them saying Car Fax did not say anything about what really happen to their cars!

So Do Not trust CAR FAX 100%

I talked her down to $1,500 and will pick it up in the morning! Still at least a couple hundred too much I know, but this is something I want right now. I don't even own the car yet and I am already emotionally attached to it.

eh its a little high i paid $1500 for an '89 5spd 143k from cali that had plenty of maintenance. but it sounds like a decent starting point. might wanna have the transmission checked more thoroughly. the 5 spds all seem to be solid unless someone really beats the crap out of it.
