Pisses me off because the CPU drivers are too aggressive. I almost threw my controller after getting bumped into the parked semi-trailer, but put it down insted.

I get spun out so often it really annoys me. I also hate that if the CPU runs into me, i get the time penalty.

Yet i still turn it on, only to get mad at it again....

And ill probably buy Forza 2, and get mad at that...

By CPU do you mean the offline AI? Or the people online? Im guessing your talking about the AI. Its like this with a lot of games, as the AI isnt intelegent at all. The AI in LFS however, takes the cake..

Theres a 50 minute video, "behind the scences" only with the creator, and his home video camera, explaining the features of the game in depth. This makes me want to buy an Xbox 360 just for the game.

To the O.P., on games that are meant to have a strong online play, they usualy dont put too much effort into the AI. But then again, ive never played forza, i could be wrong about the online part?

$150 isnt a bad price at all for a good wheel. You can get a DFP for pS2/PC for $130 new, and its got force feedback, 10 inch wheel, 900 degree rotation, and a sequential shifter, as well as paddles.

You know what i would like however? G25



Too bad its $300, but well worth it IMO. You can get a refurbrished one, or an uopend one on egay for $180.

The problem I have with Forza's AI is that they are terrible drivers and usually manage to take me out with them. Take Road Atlanta for instance. There's that nasty little spot at the end of the long straight where you have to make a tight left then right. The AI NEVER fails at smashing into me at 100+ mph just as I start to take that first left.

Same goes for the longer New York course, where you find yourself in the low-speed twisties. The AI always comes flying into the corners too fast and hits the wall--or me if I'm between them and the wall.

Its USB, so it can hook up to anything that takes USB. PC, PS2, and PS3 are the only ones i know of so far.

Id love it. THe best features are the bigger wheel, the Leather warpped wheel, the placeable H gate shifter, and the the 3 pedals with ajustable sensativity and resistance.

Id get that, if i wasnt so far behind on saving up for my 240.

theres probably an adapter for the USB to the xbox port thingy. I know people who play LFS (computer game... all controllers = usb) that use Xbox 360 controllers. So if they can get Xbox to USB, im sure you can get usb to xbox?

Then the question would be, what games would support the clutch and gated shifter. Theres no PS2 games but need for gay carbon, that support the H shifting and Clutch pedal on the G25, so you have to switch it to sequential mode, which works for every game that doesnt support the "manual mode".

All PS3 driving games so far support the H shifting and clutch pedal, and most computer sims support it as well. Pretty much every new racing game that comes out is going to support it.

Forza's AI does indeed suck very hard. If I'm lucky, I can stay ahead until the last lap on a track such as Laguna Seca and get a perfect PIT maneuver pulled on me at the chicane or very last hairpin. They brake too soon for any turn that they are ahead, brake too late for any turn you are ahead, and try to pass straight through you in the event that their car is faster than yours.

I love the game to death but I've had to open my logitech wireless for the original xbox many times to resolder peices from throwing the controller. That's the only reason I try not to play on the 360.

I don't have a problem with the AI. I just use the CLK-GTR, whoope them off the line, then never look back. My problem is witht he A-holes on line. Every time I get into a lobby, they are like "no gouging", "no bumping", then the first thing they do, usually the guy whining, is run you off the track. I won't even play online unless it's with people I know.
